Our Story

Tyler and I met in Salt Lake City while we were both attending the LDS Business College. I guess you could say we never really met... we just sorta stalked eachother via facebook and school. Anyway, I had only been there for two weeks before Tyler and I went on our first date- he likes to say he "swooped in quick" before I fell for someone else. Chyeah, right. On the date, we shared a pizza, drank Dr. Pepper, and talked for a LONG time. Seriously, though. Best date ever.

We immediately fell head-over-heels for each other- big time. We were your typical puppy-love-sloppy-kisses-in-public-can't-get-enough-of-each other couple.

Four months later, we got engaged... for the first time.

After spending the summer apart, we both realized that we needed more time to grow and learn more about one another. By the way, I am SO glad we decided to call it off when we did, or else adjusting to marriage would have been a lot worse for both of us. Besides, I was only 19, so there was no rush. So we stuck it out for a few more months before he popped the question again. This time, we were absolutely sure... I think? Ha. Yeah, we were. Tyler and I were married on January, 28th, 2012 (exactly one year from our first date) in the Dallas LDS Temple.

Then we got fat. Just kidding, but seriously. Being married to my best friend has made me the happiest girl in the world. I never knew life could be this good.
